woke up late for work today.. woke up at 10plus! that's real late right? because i work from home, so there wasn't exactly any real damage done. but i don't feel good about it. feels like i am cheating G's money.. like an irresponsible individual. i don't like myself being like that.. and i don't wish to carry on this for too long. don't want to be draining his money..i m glad i asked for no-pay leave for my trip next mth. actually if i could get the iro job before i head off to nz, i will probably not collect any salary for nov. will carry on to help him with mkting stuff during the days when i am in sg but will just ask for transport reimbursement..
went to the sls event yesterday.. the attendees were all male. i felt so out of place.. and rather bored cos i went alone. it is so awkward.. but that's the industry.. mostly male dominated..
the 2nd half of the event is more interesting than the 1st half..we were shown a titanium part that is extremely strong & sturdy but it is extremely light!! feels like paper..impressive. am quite impressed by the german and the innovation and R&D that is ongoing.. how many sg companies (excluding govt linked and govt bodies) can afford to spend on innovation?
