anti climax...

i had been trying to install the east asian languages onto my eee the whole day but kept having probs. windows kept prompting me to put in the windows xp cd. since i was at dear's hse, i don't have the cd... so was trying to find where i can d/l it. but there isn't any direct site/link on microsoft website. why i want to install the east asian lang? so that i can see the chinese words of the songs inside my itunes.. want to label them correctly.

since can't find where to d/l after trying v long, i decided to just do it tonight when i get home. so when i got home, the first thing i do after i washed up is to go and get my asus box from the storeroom. there's an eee pc cd, not exactly the windows cd. but i thought of giving it a try. i powered on my eee and sat down, eager to start...and then i realise.. i forgot that i don't have cdrom!!! and i forgot to bring dear's one back!! blur!!!! sigh.. no choice, got to wait till tomorrow.. anti-climax..

went dinner with WFCC, dear and nini at old town. Junior CAL was in a depressing mood cos not enuff sleep.. and she cries easily. not the cry out loud type.. but big and sad eyes with tears welling up, mouth slightly frowning.. and head slowly put down in despair.. looks ultra kelian... so poor thing. Senior CAL is in quite a good mood maybe becos she gets to play with nini's iphone.

after dinner, nini went back first cos she flying off to Switzerland. then outside old town, wc and fen told us the car ride had been unpleasant and nini had been v rude and nasty. snapped at them a few times. wc was really annoyed and said that next time if they don't show up for family gathering, don't blame them. and told peng to tell xyy that there is no need to consider them when we buy new house cos he will definitely not move in. whoa.. scary.. tell xyy tomorrow during lunch..

also gg to tell them tomorrow about my new job.. *fingers crossed*

went out with dear to meet his friends for supper..quite entertaining.. hee..

oh! visited downtown east today..wanted to watch movie but there was no interesting shows. but there's this interesting showcase for people to display their goods to sell..for only S$60 per mth. and one of it has a lot of smurf figurines!! and even smurf houses!! very nice!! i think the idea of the display case is quite cool.. when i learnt how to knit soft-toys, like the ones i bought from nz, i will display it there to sell too! :)
