it's been a real busy week... many appointments. today had meeting with A and i was not very pleased with the meeting. i think they are exploiting us. not on purpose. but unconsciously, they have taken us for granted and forgot the value of our knowledge. what's aggrevating the situation is there were 2 other person inside the meeting who are engaged to provide advices in design. they are paid! we aren't! all the sourcing, manufacturability consulting.. all these takes time and it has a price tag. well... it all boils down to education. we need to educate our customers... and also we need to package all these knowledge.. i don't want to be coffee in kopi-shop. i want to be coffee in starbucks. argh! so angry!! not very angry but.. disappointed and exploited.
challenge: how to educate our clients, to let them see the value we are adding and the FACT that these value should be paid for!
tired to think now. must be the red wine at the function... gg zz-ing..
