haha... i am finally in.. and back

hee... had a hard time trying to recall my userid and password. i did a migration of this blog to another id more than 2 mths ago. and since the last migration, i have not logged in cos had been very busy at my new workplace. tried a few id just now but couldn't get it correct. was feeling quite depressed cos i want to continue to add to this blog. this blog already contains the up and down of my past 2-3 years..so i want to continue adding on to it. starting another new blog is totally out of point...

yup, started work at new place 2mths plus ago. coming to 3 mths soon. so far i am enjoying the work.. finding it very interesting and challenging. sometimes it can get stressful cos there is a lot of things to be done, especially in mar. this mth a bit slower pace but as the pace slow, i also start to get more lazy. haha.. silly me..

in the course of work, i am meeting and dealing with many people, for eg:
- very capable but low EQ
- whiner and slacker
- all's okay on the surface but bear grudges
- ultra hyper active
- scrupulous people on the other side of the table
- people who play punk
- people who are for profits but not people

many many.. and it is challenging trying to "duel" with some while working closely with some.. and i am still learning.. :)

amist all the busi-ness, i am starting to miss traveling. I miss the period last year when i am planning for my usa trips - booking of air tickets, planning of itinerary, booking of hotels, checking out attractions and offer. and of course, i miss traveling..and the cold weather. miss the wildlife in usa, the mtns and grassland in new zealand.. i miss the freedom of then!

but i won't be able to go for long trips soon, because my probation will only end in July, ie july is my last mth on probation. and furthermore, i still owe sis $3k for last yr's nz trip. must remember to pay her back by june. yup, that's my target.. june!

can't do any long trips, so will think of some short ones. maybe batam, maybe trengganu.. and maybe tw at end of yr. we'll see how..

sunday was my 27th bday. time flies.. i am oredi 27th..although mentally, consciously, unconsciously, i still see myself as 26th! haa.. 27th seems too old a figure liaoz.. hehe.. i just realised today is the first day i had a bday cake at work!! although had been working for the past 3 yrs, i had nvr celebrated bday at work! today is the first.. :)

dear bought me a nice cake too.. mango cheese.. yum. i will look forward to eating the mango cake.. was reviewed to be v good...
