hardcore negotiator, tough nut..

things have been getting rather exciting at work for me. especially working for moustachie. he's not my boss but he would like to make plagues/awards for distributors. so i am helping him source and getting suppliers to bring samples. moustachie is a tough nut.. hardcore businessman who negotiate ruthlessly. brought 2 suppliers to see him thus far and he has not been very kind. not mean but he shows the suppliers that he has the upper hand from the 1st second. today he said to supplier, "this glass $200 plus. not worth it lah..the other day, we saw one crystal $200 plus. might as well get the crystal one." the supplier was dumbfounded for a while. den added, he can go back and calculate a better price for us. all in all, he's attacking the supplier, to aim for better deal and price. he doesn't show much enthusiasm and interest in the supplier's stuff. instead, he showed the "so-so" look, all trying to make the supplier worried and kan cheong about the deal.

so scary.. i dun noe if he is really displeased with what i had shown him so far. all those which the suppliers showed us are selected by me. but..wow.. he's really hardcore tough negotiator... wow.. something eye-opening for me.. do i want to learn his pattern? i dunoe.. but for now, i just got to figure out how to tackle this tough nut. those awards and plaques are so heavy.. i so paiseh ask the suppliers bring and be put down by moustachie..how to deal with this tough nut... hmm.. dun show him anything!! hah.. just joking..
